Hey,
It’s been a while. A lot has happened in that time and I want to give you guys an update…but where to start?
I’ve been at my role for a year now and one thing I can tell you is that it’s not boring. Time passes by quicker than usual with the introduction of deadlines and constant influx of work. Change has flooded over the office like a dark cloud, one of which has got people thinking, but, I don’t know, I look at it as life, shit happens and shit will always happen, the only thing you can do is manipulate any situation to your advantage but that’s just me.
Last time I told you that I was getting ready to sit my exams, all 5 of them. Well I sat one during the Christmas period and passed, now I won’t tell you what mark I got but I passed God dammit, so mind your business. One advise I’ll give any one about to sit or thinking about it. Get your reading material a month before you actually start, this gave me enough time to prep. Try get as much information from the text book into your own notes as quickly as possible, take that information, break it down to smaller more concise notes and the last and more important step, practice papers, get familiar with them. At the end of the day the questions might change ever so slightly but they will all have the same formula.
P-O-D-C-A-S-T. If you didn’t already know me and a couple guys have started a podcast. Taking our ideas to a more verbal setting. Only 4 episodes in and I can see the potential, of course I’m saying that because I’m involved. To have a platform where you can express yourself, around people who are as open minded as yourself but have different views is a great way to develop your own understanding. I think me and the guys all know it’s going to take a while for people to willingly gravitate to the podcast but that’s fine. It takes time for people to accept greatness.
I’ve got a few other projects in the work which I can’t give away just yet but just know that I’m going to utilise every part of 2019 with the aim of giving you the people the best content I physically can.
